Parts Available

Two PCBs are currently available: the Dual Input Card and the Motherboard. Both are manufactured to a high quality by a leading industry supplier, and feature:

• component silkscreen (top side)
• solder resist and tinned (top and bottom sides)
• 4 (copper) layers
• through hole plated
• 10 thou track spacing minimum.

Preprogrammed PIC12CE519 microcontrollers are available for controlling a PGA2310 volume control with a rotary encoder.

The prices for the bare PCBs (excludes all components) in UK Pounds are:

Please note that PICs can only be ordered at the same time as PCBs, due to our minimum order policy (sorry!).

Prices include packaging, but exclude shipping costs (see below), insurance and customs duty/taxes.

Shipping

The parts will be despatched from the UK - please find the price for the delivery service you require. Parcelforce (part of the UK's national postal carrier) is the preferred carrier, but most carriers with a UK base can be used if you wish (eg. DHL, UPS, TNT, Business Express, Securicor).

Please use the Parcelforce Online Calculator to determine the cost of shipping and to choose the delivery service you require.

For pricing, assume the shipping weight and package size for the parts are:

• Dual Input Card 0.06Kg per PCB, plus a total of 0.5Kg for packaging for up to ten. The approximate package size is 22cm x 15cm x 5cm.
• Motherboard 0.2Kg per PCB, plus a total of 0.5Kg for packaging for up to three. The approximate package size is 50cm x 19cm x 5cm.
• PIC microcontrollers - included within PCB packaging, at no additional weight.

Payment Methods

All payments must be made in UK Pounds (Sterling). Click here for the xe.com currency converter (it refers to UKP as "British Pound GBP").

Three payment methods are accepted:

• Cheque (or bank draft) drawn on a UK Bank (eg. NatWest, Lloyds TSB, Barclays).
• PayPal, an internet payment service. Note that due to fees made by this service there will be an additional charge of: 2.9% to buyers in the USA/Canada, or 3.9% to buyers in the rest of the world.
• If you wish to use Mastercard or Visa (with an additional charge of 2.5%), the PCBs will be sold to you by our agent (Fathom IT), but please note that UK VAT (UK Sales Tax) will be charged at 17.5% on all orders to the UK and Europe.

How To Order

If you wish to purchase PCBs, then please send an email to orders@errock.co.uk including in the email text:

• the number of each type of PCB you require
• your name and address (the PCBs will be despatched to this address)
• the shipping company and service you wish to be used (eg. Parcelforce Economy) including the cost of this (using the online calculator)
• the total price including shipping (and delivery insurance if you require this)
• the payment method you are using (PCBs will be despatched when payment is received).

If you are paying by PayPal, please remember to add 2.9% (USA/Canada) or 3.9% (UK/Europe/rest of the world). Send the payment to orders@errock.co.uk.

If you wish to pay by Mastercard/Visa please add:

• if the PCBs are being sent to UK/Europe, 17.5% VAT plus 2.5% credit card charge, or
• if the PCBs are being sent to USA/the rest of the world, 2.5% credit card charge.

and then send your credit card details by fax to +44 (0)870 051 3999, together with a copy of your order details. PCBs can only be sent to the registered cardholder's address.

An email will be sent confirming when payment is cleared and when the PCBs will be despatched.

General Terms and Conditions

PCBs are normally in stock and so will be despatched within 10 - 15 working days of payment being cleared (we will advise you if this changes).

The PCBs and designs on this website are for home constructor use - please contact us if you wish to use these designs commercially.

The PCBs are manufactured to a very high standard and so faults are rare. However, if a PCB is found to be faulty we will replace it free of charge (including shipping costs) upon return of the faulty board. If the fault was not obvious before assembly started (eg. a fault on an internal copper layer) we will also replace any components which cannot be reused, at our discretion. PCBs damaged during assembly are excluded from this offer.

Faults and damage due to shipping must be notified by email within 1 week of receipt. Non-obvious faults (as described above) must be notified by email as soon as practical.

Please confirm before you purchase any PCBs that they will be appropriate for the purpose you intend, and that you have the necessary skills to construct/test the individual PCBs and the project as a whole - as no refunds will be given for any PCBs sold.

Any contracts relating to the sale of PCBs shall be subject to English Law. Liability shall be limited to the value of the PCBs sold. No liability shall be accepted for direct or consequential loss due to the use or misuse of these PCBs and designs.
